With its beautiful palaces, great food and a hopping nightlife, Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a popular city and the political, economic and cultural hub of the country. The name of this city means ‘Capital’ in Korean language and is by far the largest metropolis in South Korea divided in two parts by Han River running across the city. Seoul is connected to the outside world via various airways that land at the Incheon International Airport. Gimpo airport is another port here located centrally and catering mostly to domestic flights. For shopping, there are many street markets and fashion stores including Namdaemun Market, the greatest and an all inclusive market place of South Korea. Dongdaemun Market is another market known as the Mecca of fashion for its huge malls and shopping complexes. Yougsan Electronics Market is an option to shop for electronic goods in Seoul.

Seoul serves its guests with a large number of different hotels including 5 star hotels, boutique hotels, business hotels and so on. Some of the popular luxury hotels in Seoul are namely Park Hyatt, Grand Intercontinental, JW Marriott, Lotte Jamsil, Shilla, Grand Hyatt, Ritz Carlton and Millennium Hilton amongst others. At the same time, there is no scarcity of budget accommodations in this city. Some of the good mid-range and budget hotels available here include President Hotel, Hamilton Hotel, Ibis Hotel Ambassador, Seoul Guest House, and Kims’ Guest House etc. Most of the hotels in Seoul are concentrated in different parts of the city like Central Seoul, City Center, Coex, Gimpo Airport Area, Gangseo, Dongdaemun, Jamsil, Suburb and Yeouido amongst other places.
